Summer 2023. For our laptops, my college says no Apple Silicon Macs (Intel required).
Has anyone had any issues with Microsoft RD on the latest Macs? Today they are recommended version 10.4.1

I have been using remote desktop on my MAC for about 2 years, for a PC based program that I need for work. Within the last few months it has been crashing a lot and even deleted my program a few times recently. Is anyone else having these issues?

I try not to change from MAC to a PC so I want to get access to my files and programs I have access to when I use a PC.
I have some issue with RemoteApp and Desktop Connection, I can download the .rdp file on my MAC but it still just download the file even I have installed the Microsoft Remote Desktop and choosen to use it when open the .rdp file.
What do I do wrong?

Worked quite well until I updated this morning (Big Sur 11.6). Now will not connect... not even in the Beta version updated 3 days ago.
